According to the news of the tourism news Center, which is the news source of the tourism sector in Turkey, wyndham hotels & Resorts, the world's largest franchised hotel company with approximately 9,100 hotels in more than 95 countries, strengthened its position as the largest international hotel company in Turkey in terms of the number of hotels with the opening of 10 hotels in Istanbul, Antalya, Ordu, Samsun, Rize, Mersin, Kahramanmaraş, Diyarbakır and Erzurum in 2022.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, which brought the Wyndham Garden brand to Turkey with the opening of hotels in Antalya and Diyarbakır, increased the number of brands in the country to 9, and added approximately 40 hotels in the upper and middle segments to its portfolio by acquiring Vienna House, one of Europe's well-known hotel brands, in recent months.
Making statements about Turkey, which is the fifth largest market of the global hotel chain Wyndham Hotels in the world, Dimitris Manikis, President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA, said that they want to give more to Turkey than they have received and that they will increase the number of brands to 10 and reach 150 hotels in 2025.

With more than 90 hotels in 40 provinces in Turkey, the Turkish market is the fifth largest in the world for Wyndham Hotels. The group, which aims to reach 100 hotels in Turkey by the 100th anniversary of the Republic, did not change its plans due to the earthquake, but worked in coordination with the Turkish Hoteliers Association (TÜROB) after the earthquake and opened the doors of its hotels to earthquake victims.
Wyndham Hotels donated to the Red Cross and Red Crescent to help the earthquake victims and also organized a donation campaign with the participation of its employees in nearly 100 countries where it operates and sent the money collected there to Turkey.
