The world's most visited cities have been announced

In Euromonitor International's 2025 Top 100 City Destinations Index report, which identifies the world's most popular cities for tourism, Paris was once again selected as the world's most attractive city, with two cities from Turkey also making the list.

In Euromonitor International's 2025 Top 100 City Destinations Index report, Paris was named the world's most attractive city, outperforming its competitors in criteria such as tourism infrastructure, sustainability, safety, and economic performance. Madrid, Tokyo, Rome, and Milan followed Paris in the rankings. Barcelona rose two places to eighth, while Amsterdam settled in seventh place.

London, which once ranked high on the list but fell to 18th place due to declines in tourism policies and sustainability, has a strong tourism infrastructure, but its overall performance has noticeably weakened.

In 2025, Bangkok was recorded as the city hosting the most tourists with 30.3 million visitors, followed by Hong Kong, London, and Macau. Istanbul was recorded as the 5th most visited city in the world with 19.7 million visitors, while Antalya, the capital of tourism, ranked 8th globally with 18.6 million visitors. This table once again demonstrated Turkey's strong brand value in tourism.
