Bali Governor Wayan Koster said that from February 1, 2024, foreign tourists will be charged a tax of 150 thousand Indonesian rupees (10 dollars) to enter Bali.
Stating that the 10-dollar tax will not be a problem for foreigners, Koster said, "Despite the rise in airplane and hotel prices, 19 thousand foreign tourists came to Bali yesterday. The tax we will collect to support the local budget is in a size that tourists can pay."
The tax is planned to apply not only to tourists but also to those who get work visas. ( news center )
