While a total of 9 million 533 thousand 933 foreign tourists came to the country in the first 4 months of the year, with the addition of citizens residing abroad, the total number of tourists visiting the country in the first 4 months of the year reached approximately 11.1 million.
In the January-April period of 2023, Russia ranked first with a share of 12.10 percent with 1.1 million people, Germany ranked second with a share of 10.14 percent with 966 thousand 336 people, Bulgaria ranked third with a share of 8.37 percent with 797 thousand 956 people.
Iran and England (United Kingdom) followed Bulgaria.
