Hikmet Sevcan, the owner of Sevcan Hotel, whose name was mentioned in the reports of Turkey's National Intelligence Organisation (Mit) among the participants of the fathers' meeting, and who Sedat Peker mentioned in his videos that he was wanted with a red bulletin for a long time due to drug trafficking, died.
Hikmet Sevcan, who died at the age of 81, whose funeral will be buried in the family cemetery in Ataköy, Istanbul after the noon prayers tomorrow, and who also has a hospital in Gaziantep, said in an interview he gave in the past years, "I am not involved in the Mafia, I am not involved in dark affairs, these are all the work of 12 September. The thing I am most against is drugs. If the police come out one day and say that I did this drug business, I am ready to go back inside.''

Born in 1943 in Gaziantep-Kilis, Hikmet Sevcan, whose name was mentioned as one of the 15 names in the underworld who participated in the Fathers' Meeting organised in 1980 and mentioned in MIT reports, said in an interview in 2016: "I have no criminal record since my childhood, I got it from the prosecutor's office and had it stamped by a notary public. I have no criminal record since my childhood. The police have written on the GBT every incident that every newspaper writes about Varan1, Varan2 because I was involved in these mattress tenders. I do not have the slightest criminal record, whether it is for drugs or any other disgraceful incident.''
