With the decision taken by the court regarding the concordat request announced by the sector's news source Turizm Haber Merkezi in October last year, the concordat request of maya turizm Taşımacılık Limited Company was accepted and the concordat was approved and registered in accordance with the Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law. Within the scope of the decision, it was decided to pay all ordinary receivables in equal instalments for 36 months starting from 30 June 2024, while the payment plan and tables submitted to the court were made part of the decision. In the concordat decision, where it is emphasised that all receivables and instalments will be followed according to the determined payment plan, it is also stated that the concordat decision becomes binding immediately without waiting for the finalisation of the reasoned decision.
Financial Consultant Muzaffer Akça, who has been decided to take office for the management of the concordat process, will be paid a monthly fee of 10.000,00 TL during his duty and this fee will be covered by the plaintiff company, will regularly report the status of the debtor's business and the ability to pay debts to the court. While it was determined by the court decision that the attachments initiated before the temporary respite decision and which have not yet been converted into money are null and void, it was stated that this provision does not apply to certain creditors.
It was emphasised that in case the concordat is terminated completely, the debtors may be declared bankrupt and the bankruptcy advances that do not need to be returned at this stage will be paid in a certain order.
