There is great anticipation in Europe for the return of the Chinese and everyone is looking forward to seeing the Chinese again, the ETC official said in a statement:
"Of course, in terms of shopping tourism, we can expect more luxury goods sales from France and also from Italy. We expect to see more Chinese coming to visit, for example, Rome or Milan, we expect to see more Chinese in the tourist attractions. And of course with Chinese tourists coming back we can expect an increase in terms of travel, especially in the hospitality sector. Generally speaking, this will of course bring an increase in terms of revenue for us. We hope to see Chinese tourists coming back very soon and very quickly. From what we see numerically and from what is happening in China, we can expect new tourists to spend more time in different destinations in different countries. We hope that they will spend more time in different places, explore local culture, explore local food, spend more quality time and the two cultures will come to understand each other better.''
