According to the news of the tourism news Center, which is the news source of the tourism sector in Turkey, hotels in the Balearic Islands of Spain will no longer put disposable shampoos and bottled water in their rooms as part of the practice launched by the Accor Group in 2020 and adopted by many hotel groups in waves.
By 2030, the Pan-European green agreement, which aims to make all packaging reusable or recyclable, will be implemented, while accommodation facilities in Mallorca, Ibiza and other islands will not put disposable shampoos, toothbrushes, shower caps, razors, combs and other boucle products in the rooms.
This will also apply to stationery such as pens and notepads that can be found in rooms, and hotels will have to replace their flyers with digital QR codes.
In line with the decision, hotels will also not be able to offer their guests disposable food and beverages such as tea and coffee bags, bottled water.
