The London-based Henley Passport Index, prepared with data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and evaluating the visa or visa-free travel opportunities of countries, shared the list of the world's most powerful passports in 2023.
Japan, which ranked first with 193 points last year, left the summit to Singapore, while Japan, which offers visa-free travel to 193 countries, was selected as the world's most powerful passport for 5 consecutive years.
Singapore passport holders can benefit from visa free travel to 193 countries, while Turkey's passport remained in 53rd place with 114 points. Countries such as Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan ranked last in the list of the world's most powerful passports in 2023 announced by the London-based Henley Passport Index.
